C’est l’histoire d’un jeune garçon appelé Bar, de 17ans, vivant dans un village appelé Bar Giyora, dans les alentours de Jérusalem. Sa grande sœur Maayan est une très bonne amie à moi depuis plusieurs années.
Quand Bar était âgé de 6 ans, il était en voiture avec son père et son grand-frère de 8ans et un terroriste arabe a jeté des pierres sur la voiture, une pierre a touché et blessé le grand-frère, Bar et son père n’ont pas été blessé mais Bar a du suivre un traitement psychologique pendant plusieurs années.
A l’age de 14 ans, Bar a été invité à un voyage au Canada avec une association juive aidant les victimes de la terreur. Pendant la dernière semaine de son voyage, il s’est évanoui, a été emmené à l’hôpital et les médecins lui ont découvert une forme très rare de leucémie.
Et depuis, Bar et sa famille se battent sans arrêt contre ce cancer qui rythme diaboliquement sa vie….. il a suivi des différents traitements qui lui ont donné espoir, mais le cancer est toujours revenu, il a aussi reçu une transplantation de moelle osseuse de son frère, en vain.
Puis les médecins en Israël ont trouvé qu’aux Etats-Unis, dans un hôpital de Seatle, il y a LE traitement dont Bar a besoin, sa famille à réussi à récolter dans les 200 000 dollars, Bar est parti pour plusieurs moi se faire traiter, après quelques mois il est revenu en Israël, il y est retourné après une courte période pour renforcer le traitement, et il y a quelques semaines de çà lors d’examens de sang faits en Israël, ils se sont rendus compte que le cancer revient petit à petit, et il doit repartir pour Seatle.
Le traitement coûte très cher, la famille à besoin d’environ un demi million de shekels, et le petit Bar écrit des statuts très touchant sur Facebook comme son dernier qui a été traduit par un ami en anglais :

I’m sitting here again, thinking what to write, after five years all my ideas are gone, all my thoughts are a mess. I’m just going to write what is on my heart.
I’m Bar Ouli, 19 years old, from a village near the mountains of Jerusalem-Bar Giora.
Most of you know my story, but for those who don’t, I’ll tell you shortly. When I was 15 years old I went on a trip to Canada with the organization for victims of terror/ hate attacks (For those who don’t know a few years back I was driving with my family and stones were thrown on us, I was injured like the others) and I felt bad in the hotel and fainted. From that point on my life was changed, hospitals, blood check ups, as a 15 year old in a strange country I didn’t understand what happened and what they wanted from me. The results from the tests confirmed that I had cancer. From that day, till today, I beat the cancer 4 times. I went through 2 bone marrow transplants. Twice I had life saving treatments in Seattle and of course I am still under constant blood work observation. But in the last bone marrow check up, we discovered a few days ago that the cancer came back again, and when I say again I mean for the 5th time.
Thankfully there are a few genius people in our world, that invented a treatment especially for my type of cancer. For this treatment your help and donations is needed. We had money in the bank from last time that people donated money, and I don’t want to cause a burden on my amazing and supporting family, because they really supported me and gave everything they can and now its all gone. I am not asking for a big donation, each one can donate only what they can,even just sharing this post will help- by it reaching more people, I might be able to get the right amount for my treatment in Canada.
